New media sales boss at LoveFilm

LoveFilm has appointed Jo Underhill as Head of Media Sales to the new fully in-house advertising operation.

The move to bring the online DVD rental service’s sales in-house ends LoveFilm’s relationship with Unanimis.

 

Underhill’s focus at will be to drive revenue from advertising and partnerships to the next level. 

 

In addition to this, she will work closely with the product development and film strategy teams to ensure that LoveFilm is positioned at the forefront of online advertising.

 

Underhill previously held the same role at PropertyFinder.com, and was a key member of the management team heading up initiatives that resulted in growing third party revenues and was also involved in commercial partnership development, advertising planning and offline product management.

 

In her role as Product Development Manager, Underhill was responsible for all aspects of the website¹s re-launch following a takeover by the REA Group and News International.

 

Underhill said: “I¹m thrilled to be joining the LoveFilm team, especially during a time in which the company continues to strengthen and diversify its online advertising and media sales initiatives.”

 

Simon Morris, Chief Marketing Officer, commented: “Jo is a very important addition to the team and her impressive expertise in this field will be a real asset to the company, helping LoveFilm to further its position as the ultimate online entertainment portal.”
