UK teenagers are spending an average 31 hours a week online, according to new research.
The study, from Cyber Sentinel, found that one in three teenagers admitted trying to hide what they are looking at if a parent comes into the room.
Research involving 1,000 children shows they spend one hour and 40 minutes a week on average looking at porn sites.
Information about cosmetic surgery is also an interest, with youngsters spending just over an hour looking at items such as how to enlarge breasts and collagen implants.
The study als found that teenagers are spending at least three hours a week trying to seek help with homework, although examiners believe many may just copy what they find without understanding the subject.
Cyber Sentinel provides software solutions allowing parents to block access to certain sites.
