SEO and online brand agency LBi Netrank has been appointed by car hire firm easyCar.com, as part of its pan-European online strategy to improve the site’s search engine ranking in the UK and across Europe.

LBi Netrank was named as the retained agency for SEO activity in a two-way pitch against the incumbent agency and will play a crucial role in easyCar.com’s aggressive digital marketing drive for 2009.

LBi Netrank will focus on improving easyCar’s ranking in the UK, France, the Netherlands, Germany and other countries across Europe, as well as increasing the volume and quality of traffic. In addition, LBi Netrank will also be supporting easyVan.com in the UK with their SEO solutions.

LBi Netrank has been hired by easyCar.com as they begin an ambitious, pan-European push using a powerful network of digital specialists to achieve their required results.

Bill Jones, CEO at easyCar.com, said: “In the highly competitive travel sector, digital marketing is business critical. With added search effectiveness, we are sure that the site will continue to grow and attract further users both in the UK and across Europe. LBi Netrank has demonstrated significant innovation and expertise in the ideas they have proposed - we’re looking forward to working with their team to dramatically increase our customer base.

Lucy Allen, Managing Director at LBi Netrank, said, “This is certainly a very significant investment for easyCar.com as they build their pan-European marketing campaign, and we are delighted that they have placed such an emphasis on SEO. Our partnership with easyCar.com will be an exciting challenge, as we help them move from a UK known brand to a pan-European.”
