P&O Cruises has appointed consultancy Webcredible to carry out a usability testing project on its website to define and prioritise future user-focused developments.

P&O Cruises offers cruise holidays worldwide to 90 countries and recently re-launched its website to provide a more intuitive interface for its users.  Webcredible’s usability testing will consist of twelve users performing various tasks on the new website.  Analysis and recommendations will then be submitted to P&O Cruises based on the results of the testing.

Elliott Pritchard, New Media Manager at P&O Cruises comments, “Website user experience is crucial in our industry and it is important that all website developments are made with the users’ needs in mind.  Webcredible’s track record in the online travel sector makes it the perfect partner to carry out this usability testing and help prioritise future user-centered developments.”

Webcredible was selected for this project based on previous work within the travel sector and a competitive pitch process.

Trenton Moss, Director at Webcredible comments, “User experience is crucial when it comes to websites, particularly in a sector as competitive as online travel and P&O Cruises understands that future site developments must have usability at the forefront of the proposition.  This project is testament to our expertise in the online travel sector and our experience will be key to helping P&O Cruises achieve its website goals.”
