Online ad marketplace AdJug has launched a new service that gives advertisers access to a transparent network buys, targeted by pre-defined interest segments.

The service, entitled ‘Run-of-Marketplace’, differs from traditional Run-of-Network products as it works on a full site disclosure basis, meaning an ad campaign will only appear across publisher sites that have opted-in to use the product.

This means that advertisers can choose to run a campaign within defined segments and have visibility on the publisher sites that their ads will appear on.

This network model replicates existing AdJug segments, and offers access to the AdJug marketplace which is currently generating half a billion ad impressions per month.

Publishers can still set their own price threshold in order to maintain the value of their inventory. Advertisers then pay an average category price and benefit from the increased traffic that the solution generates.

Michael Stephanblome, co-founder and CEO, AdJug, said: “Our new Run-of-Marketplace product has all the cost-benefits of a Run-of-Network solution, with the unique advantage of total transparency and high-level targeting. We are confident that this will be a highly attractive offering to advertisers and publishers who want to build revenue without sacrificing visibility.”

AdJug’s unique online management system allows advertising to be booked in minutes, without the need to talk to a member of the team, removing a layer of complexity from the traditional ad buying process.

Publishers already using the AdJug marketplace can easily add themselves to the new Run-of-Marketplace product that gives them an additional opportunity to attract advertising revenues. They benefit from end-of-month reports detailing revenues generated from both the new product and the AdJug marketplace.
