Social network mymission2 has launched today, designed to help members achieve their own life goals and ambitions.
The free site lets users, known as “missioners”, publish their own missions. Users then also help to fulfill missions that other people have published.
When a new mission is created, mymission2's smart technology allows alerts to be sent to the missioners who are most likely to be able to help with the mission.
Mission points are automatically awarded for activity in the site and to the people most helpful in fulfilling the mission of others.
Current categories include: arts, auto and transport, beauty and style, business and finance, charity, entertainment/music, education, environment, gadgets, food and drink, government, health, home and garden, pets, relationships, sports, technology, and travel.
David Ashford, CEO of MyMIssion2, said: “This is not another person-to-person social network. The key to mymission2 is the matching of content-to-people which ensures that only the most relevant people are alerted about your missions”.
mymission2's intellectual property is in the algorithms that prioritize people according to their ability to help with each specific mission. It includes clever business logic which filters alerts so that only a maximum of 100 alerts are sent out when a mission is created but that these alerts go to the people who are most likely to be able to help fulfill the mission.
There are plans for exciting new functionality as well as improvements as the community and traffic volume grow.
mymission2 enables you to fulfil your aspirations, obtain advice and support or request specific products or services. mymission2 relies totally on the content you publish; it’s about achieving something you couldn’t otherwise achieve. But most of all it’s about having fun.
