The Search Works expands into web design

Black Horse Car Sales, part of the Lloyds TSB Group, has re-launched its website with the help of search marketing firm The Search Works.

The new site, designed by The Search Works, is designed to ensure customers are within one to two clicks of the information they want and will maximise search engine optimisation (SEO).

The project, which started in the summer of 2007, is The Search Works’ first design through to implementation project and further cements its drive to become a digital-performance marketing agency with expertise beyond search.

The main objective for the re-design was to allow the company to interact with people who love their cars and offer them, in addition to Black Horse Car Sale’s product offering, the ability to read detailed and up-to-date information on car manufacturers, specific models and features.

Chris Simpson, interim Managing Director for The Search Works, said: “Understanding the needs of the Black Horse Car Sales customer was critical at the initial design stages of the project.  Employing our search expertise empowers users to interact with the company, while after sales support and training allows Black Horse Car Sales to maintain its momentum.”

In addition to the design of the site and SEO services, The Search Works will offer continuous training for all Black Horse Car Sales marketing staff and ongoing advice to maintain the company’s future-proof online marketing strategy.

Mark Ellis, Head of Marketing - Black Horse Car Sales, added: “The new website is fantastic and will offer our customers so much more than previously possible.  We chose The Search Works to handle the re-design in part, due to the longstanding client relationship it has with Lloyds TSB CarSelect Limited and the wider group.  The approach was planned with the full support of our stakeholders and is a positive investment in the online strategy of the business.”
