TrustedPlaces, a social network for local communities has partnered with BView, a business listings and customer review directory to provide a first-of-its-kind joint solution tailored to the needs of local business.

The partnership lets local business owners provide advertising models and enhancing exposure to relevant customers across both sites.

Under the agreement BView’s sales force will handle all local sales on behalf of TrustedPlaces and enable local business owners to reach a targeted audience through a combined service tailored at the marketing needs of small businesses such as restaurants, bars, pubs, shops and all other local services.

The joint offer is a combination of free and premium access to TrustedPlaces and BView company profiles.

Business owners can add information including business description, key contacts, menus & photos to their profile.

They can also promote special offers exclusively to the TrustedPlaces and BView user community and advertise around targeted postcodes on both sites.

This move comes after Growing Business recently placed TrustedPlaces at number 4 of the Top 100 UK Start-ups.

.

BView lists 2.3 million companies and enables businesses to control their reputation online. It highlights the UK’s best and worst companies—as rated by their customers-- as part of a reviews-based community.

TrustedPlaces CEO and co-founder, Sokratis Papafloratos, said: “We’re very excited about partnering with BView as we are developing a product that really delivers value to local businesses. Our combined product provides unparalleled access and functionality to local business owners empowering them to maximize return on their online presence. Establishing the partnership was easy as we found that we share a common vision with the BView team and our respective skills complement each other very well. We’re launching with a set of features that can truly help local businesses to effectively market themselves online and plan an aggressive rollout of enhanced functionality in the coming months.“

Adam Baker, BView managing director, commented: “This exciting partnership creates a highly disruptive revenue model for our respective companies and will deliver a unique, compelling proposition to businesses in the UK. BView and TrustedPlaces are together focussed on enabling businesses to better manage their reputations, build sustainable relationships with their customers and target a much wider, highly relevant audience at a very affordable cost, maximising their return on investment.”
