Online ad marketplace AdJug has struck advertising partnerships with online classifieds service provider Oodle, and The Sun Local.

Both Oodle and The Sun Local are working with AdJug to receive banner advertising from its ad marketplace, that will be targeted to run-of-site and key classified categories such as pets, cars, property, tickets and items for sale.

The partnership will deliver targeted opportunities for advertisers through the AdJug marketplace, which is currently achieving over half a billion ad impressions per month and growing fast with over 1200 publisher sites listed.

Oodle is one of the largest classified networks in the UK and brings together more than three million listings from hundreds of classified sites, improving the way people buy and sell locally.

It also offers search, email alerts and information to help consumers make better buying decisions.

Since its launch in 2006, the Oodle UK network has grown rapidly and delivers over 2,400,000 monthly referrals to its content partners.

The Oodle UK Network powers classifieds for The Sun and other leading brands including Lycos UK, Magic Radio and Infospace.

It gives media companies and portals a proven business model for free listings and a growing classifieds marketplace for their customers.

Max Moore, AdJug VP Publishing, comments: “Adding Oodle’s high calibre inventory to the AdJug inventory mix will provide our advertisers with a great cross-section of classified sites to target, and further expand AdJug’s local channel.”

Duncan Dunlop, General Manager, Oodle UK adds: “We are delighted to be working with Adjug and from day one we have seen our display ad revenues grow ahead of expectations.”
