Department store chain House of Fraser has hired Commision Junction to boost its affiliate marketing programme.

Commission Junction is recruiting and ensuring that House of Fraser are working with a range of affiliate business models, which ensures a balanced and broad approach to the programme, including paid search, content, social communities, cashback and reward/loyalty sites.

The premium department store recently launched its first affiliate marketing promotion with Commission Junction on 26 June, which coincided with its Sale Event.

Publisher recruitment, product feeds and other tools are all being set up ready for the sale and in preparation for the key Autumn and Christmas period.

Chris Bishop, Online Acquisition Manager at House of Fraser said “We’re excited to have brought Commission Junction on board to scale our affiliate marketing programme.  Having launched our first transactional website in September 2007, our absolute focus is now to educate and work with the publisher community on what we can offer, which will drive new customers and therefore revenue increases for both them and us.

By building strong relationships, developing new and exciting tools and rewarding affiliates accordingly, our goal is to have the best retail affiliate marketing programme in the UK next year.”

Alison Guise, General Manager Europe at Commission Junction said, “House of Fraser is a fantastic retailer who we’re delighted to be working with to drive new, incremental customers through the affiliate marketing channel. The strength of the brand and its extensive product catalogue means great opportunities for promotion by affiliates.”

Commission Junction has recently been hired by a range of other retailers including: British Home Stores (BHS), Co-op Electricals, Xpango and Iceland Appliances to ensure success for each company’s affiliate marketing program.
