Twentieth Century Fox has signed an agreement giving BT video-on-demand rights to a range of movie titles for BT’s digital TV service, BT Vision.

From 15 December 2008, BT Vision customers can access new movies including The Happening, Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears A Who and Shine A Light

In addition, the deal also brings to BT Vision a selection of Fox catalogue titles including Alien Resurrection, The Beach and Die Hard to Fantastic Four, I,Robot and Ice Age.

All Twentieth Century Fox movies on BT Vision will be available on a pay-per-view basis without the need for an up-front or mandatory subscription, so customers only pay for what they want to watch.

"Twentieth Century Fox is proud to partner with British Telecom to provide BT Vision customers access to an exciting collection of new release and classic films”, said Jamie McCabe, Executive Vice President, Worldwide PPV, VOD & EST.  “Fox looks forward to a long and successful relationship with BT.”

Marc Watson, Director of Content and Business Development at BT Retail, said: “We’re delighted to reach agreement so that BT Vision customers can access films from one of Hollywood’s best and most respected studios.  The addition of Fox movie content to BT Vision is a substantial, much valued addition to the service.”
