Everyclick opens search engine to all UK charities

Charity search engine Everyclick has made its charity search engine more accessible to all UK charities.

The company’s new ‘online giving platform’ offers all 200,000 UK charities a one-stop resource for collecting online donations, powering supporters’ sponsorship pages and running online appeals.

These services are in addition to Everyclick’s market leading charity search engine which has already raised nearly £500,000.

The new Everyclick platform will prove particularly beneficial for smaller charities who have not been able to fundraise online. Only 41%* of charities with a turnover of less than £1m have the facilities to collect online donations.

Announcing the new site features, Polly Gowers, Founder of Everyclick said: “Currently just 2% of the UK’s £8 billion donated to charity is given online. Think of how this compares to how many of us buy a holiday or bank online.  With such a small percentage of the UK public giving online, Everyclick is pioneering the way for all charities to benefit from the web.

"We are the only website where internet users can fundraise for their favourite charity in a variety of ways. Everyclick’s users can search the web, shop online, make a donation and create a sponsorship page to raise funds for any charity they wish.

We are proud to have developed a single platform that can provide an online fundraising solution for all the UK’s charities. We are looking forward to seeing our technology make a direct impact on their income. Our aim is to power a “virtual collection tin” on as many websites, blogs and social network pages as possible and see online giving become as popular as online shopping.”

Everyclick’s new services are not just available via the Everyclick website, they can also be integrated to any third-party website via the Everyclick Widget.

These significant enhancements reinforce the Everyclick mission to open up new fundraising channels to all UK charities at minimum cost. The Everyclick donation services ensure more of a supporters money goes to the charity of their choice.
