ITN’s multimedia division, ITN On, has extended its relationship with Bebo to launch Game On, a video gaming channel.

The channel will run on Bebo's self-service Open Media platform, and is designed to provide a ‘one-stop shop’ for video game enthusiasts.

The channel provides gaming news, reviews, previews and engage with the channel via polls and debates.

ITN On’s own gaming fanatic Nathaniel Lippiett will deliver daily video clips and blogs as well as Gamerzine TV, the weekly programme produced by ITN On and games magazine publisher Cranberry.

Nicholas Wheeler, Managing Director of ITN On said: “Bebo has a very strong offering that caters to a very desirable youth market and this elusive audience that appeals to ITN On and our advertisers. There is a large community of gaming fans on the Bebo platform and Game On is made specifically with that audience in mind, This newly created channel encourages them to interact, share their opinions, gaming tricks, build a community and make the channel their own.”

Sarah Gavin, Global Director of Communications said: "Today's Bebo users have grown more sophisticated in their appetite for online content and ITN's Game On channel delivers a new interactive experience and opportunity for mass participation. Game On allows Bebo's gaming audience to be part of a unique online community and adds to ITN's already rich portfolio of Open Media content."

ITN On currently has four channels on the Open Media platform including Planet Goss, Sports Fix, Bollywood Insider and Crazy Wild Cool. ITN’s channels are funded by short pre-roll advertisements delivered via blinkx’s AdHoc platform.
