Affiliate Window launches product comparison service

Affiliate Window, part of Digital Window, has launched intuitive new software to enable affiliates to build refined product comparison functionality into their websites, and help drive sales to merchant partners.

ShopWindow technology will allow the network’s affiliates and publishers, including The Sun, Virgin Media and Tiscali, to build a product comparison site, enabling web shoppers to search and compare over four million products from the Affiliate Window product database.

The new service enables visitors to refine their search to specify brand, price bracket, category and retailer, helping them find what they are looking for more  quickly.

Affiliate Window said merchants will benefit from a larger volume of high quality leads. The  search options will recognise roman numerals as numbers and automatically correct any typographical errors.

David Hall, communications director at Affiliate Window, said: “The basic principle of affiliate marketing is that affiliates want to earn lots of commission and merchants want to make lots of sales. With the ShopWindow technology, when an affiliate deploys the software to build a product comparison feature into their site they will be offering the consumer a complete shopping experience. As a result, more satisfied shoppers will take the step to make that final purchase with the merchant, therefore earning increased sales and commissions for both parties.”
