Digital advertising technology provider DoubleClick has been chosen by online ad network OTPmedia after a six month competitive pitch.

The deal will see DoubleClick provide technical solutions for ad serving. This partnership replaces OTPmedia’s former relationship with ADTECH.

After a thorough review of the online marketing technologies, OTPmedia decided to use DoubleClick’s digital advertising product to serve display advertising across its network.

OTPmedia will use DART for Publishers (DFP), DoubleClick’s leading hosted web-based ad management and serving application to evaluate online advertising campaign performance.

Jeannie Gammon, DoubleClick UK Country Director, commented: “We are pleased to be in partnership with OTPmedia. DART for Publishers allows networks to ensure the timely delivery of their clients’ campaigns and also to take advantage of DFP’s targeting and reporting technology. OTPmedia will be a valued partner in ensuring the continued development of DFP towards the markets needs”.

Ian Woolley, OTPmedia Managing Director, added: “As a premium targeted network, a robust trustworthy ad serving technology is a necessity for OTPmedia. Following our recent rapid growth and expansion, we felt it was time to complete a full appraisal of our requirements.  Subsequently we believe that the DART for Publishers technology, coupled with the commitment of DoubleClick to its continued development, best served our current and future needs and those of the premium publishers we represent.”
