Hewitt has 12 years of media sales experience and has worked as Agency Sales and Supplement Manager for The Times newspaper, where she managed key accounts such as the LVMH Group, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Unilever.

Robert Glasgow, Webgains Managing Director, said: “Having Melanie on board is the first step in implementing additional muscle to the Webgains growth strategy, extending the focus to large corporate organisations and agencies.

“We believe that our combination of personalised customer service and pragmatic tools will add much value to how agencies perceive and manage affiliate campaigns,” Glasgow added.

Commenting on her appointment, Hewitt said: "This is really an exciting opportunity to help grow the Webgains network - with our current reach into six countries and more on the way, Webgains now has a solid platform with which to service large and pan-European clients”.
