The company said the deal will give Maxymiser greater control of its development resource and expands the range of services available to clients.

Established in 2002, IDE Digital was behind the development of the HitDynamics web analytics platform which became part of Hitwise's portfolio in 2005 and was subsequently retained by Experian.

The firm’s clients include LexisNexis, New Scientist, LOVEFiLM International, Siren TV, Kuoni Group and Venda.

IDE Digital will now be known as Maxymiser Services and will retain and further expand the existing team of over 50 developers based in two East European technical centres.

Under the Services branding, Maxymiser can offer value added development services to clients and partners in the key areas of web development, analytics and mobile applications.

The acquisition will allow Maxymiser to accelerate the development of its website testing and optimisation solution in the areas of Personalisation and Behavioural Targeting platform, Maxymiser Behavioural Targeting.

A team of 15 analytics and online marketing development specialists with an additional 40 developers working across web and mobile projects brings the company's European team to over 80 people.

Bill Dobbie, CEO of Maxymiser commented "Our clients face increasing stress on their development resource. Maxymiser Services will soak up this pressure by providing clients with value added development and analytical capabilities allowing their businesses to benefit from optimisation and personalisation technologies."
