The deal follows Aquent’s purchase of recruitment consultancy pricejamieson last week.

Aquent's database of prospective candidates the UK's largest, is now in excess of 175,000.

Melissa Coxon, Managing Director of Recruit Media, said: “As individuals we are very driven, and that comes through in the way we have built and structured our business. This acquisition is good for us. Aquent has a future full of opportunity. It has given us the incentive to set out goals higher and become more driven and focused towards success and growth than ever before.”
Both Melissa Coxon and Melanie Bennett will remain in their roles as Managing Directors of Recruit Media.
Recruit Media's knowledge of the editorial, digital, print and production sectors within central and local government, public sector, education and charities will now be supported by Aquent's global network of 70 offices in 17 countries.
