Cooper previously held a number of roles within senior management since joining the company at the beginning of 2000 when he assisted in the setting up of the TradeDoubler organization in the UK.

William has previously been Managing Director of the UK organization, Chief Marketing Officer, and most recently Chief Operating Officer of TradeDoubler Group.  He has been on the Group Management Board since 2002.

William succeeds Martin Henricson, who leaves the company from an operational capacity but remains on the Board of Directors.

Commenting on his appointment William Cooper said, "I am delighted to have this opportunity to take TradeDoubler forward over the coming years.  I believe with the knowledge and expertise we have throughout the organization, and in particular within the Group Management Board, we have a very exciting and strong future ahead of us as an independent listed company".

Earlier this month, Internet firm AOL has withdrew its $900m bid for Tradedoubler, after opposition from shareholders.
