The ceremony culminated in the Special Lifetime Achievement award being presented to Julie Howell for her work with the RNIB and her efforts to bring digital access to people with disabilities.

MIGs work generated over £3.5m for event organisers- the most for any charity text appeal, while the volume of SMS traffic generated is now in the Guinness Book of Records.
