Parfect's role will be to grow and develop the media and search marketing areas of 24/7 Real Media's business.  He will be primarily tasked with establishing sales channels and generating new leads for both business units.

He will also have a secondary role, promoting 24/7 Real Media within the industry as the only provider to offer a global full-service search marketing solution that covers planning, account management, bid management, optimisation and online reporting.

Speaking about his new position, David said: "Due to the nature of its business, I feel that 24/7 Real Media can offer me the chance to use and develop my experience from within both search marketing and media planning and buying.  Advertisers are increasingly looking for integrated digital marketing providers and in this respect 24/7 Real Media is clearly leading the way."

Parfect joins 24/7 Real Media from Search Works where he spent two years as Group Account Director for Travel & Agency, servicing a number of leading travel clients and large media agencies.

Prior to this, David spent four years working at a full service media agency in Dallas, Texas, managing interactive media planning/buying for clients including Blockbuster Video, Southwest Airlines and 7-Eleven.

Ed Stevenson, UK Managing Director of 24/7 Real Media, said: "David's experience and skills complement our business strategy perfectly.  It's unusual to find a commercially minded person with such a complete understanding of the digital marketing spectrum.  We are very confident that David can play a big part in growing our media and search customer base."
