24/7 Real Media wins CD Wow! ad contract

CD Wow! operates in 13 countries, and has more than 3 million members.  The site currently has over one million products.

 

CD Wow! will cut the price on all new release chart CD’s this autumn which will be supported with a £1 million TV campaign.

 

24/7 Real Media UK will manage the online advertising sales across the site, as well as creating tailor-made sponsorship solutions for advertisers that include homepage exposures offering a clear stand out.

 

Sponsors for CD Wow! will come from the entertainment and gaming industry, including large FMCG brands, music producers, film/TV/DVD producers, games and consoles producers.

 

Commenting on the deal, Steve Dorey, head of business development at 24/7 Real Media UK, said: “We have created new opportunities on CD Wow! for advertisers looking for more than just banner advertising. The sponsorship packages we are putting in place are designed to allow advertisers to create a bespoke environment for their brands.”

 

CD Wow! currently serves more than eight million page impressions in the UK each month, and the site is visited by more than 700,000 unique users, according to the July 2006 ComScore Media Metrix.
