Following the success of the inaugural awards in 2005, Netimperative is looking forward to another bumper event in 2006.

The Imperatives Digital Awards 2006 will celebrate high achievement and aims to award brands, agencies and media/site owners who exceed expectations and truly innovate.

Unlike other awards events, the eventual winners of The Imperatives will be determined by a public vote.

Categories for 2006:

Hottest New Start-up
Best Search Campaign
Best Search Application
Best Site
Best Interactive Agency
Best Media Owner
Best Interactive Advertising Campaign
Best use of Mobile
Best use of Email
Best use of Viral
Best use of Technology

The awards will also feature a special Lifetime Achievement category.

Once entries have been submitted they will go to a panel of expert judges to decide on a shortlist of up to 5 in each of the 15 categories. The shortlist is then put to a public vote allowing the industry itself to decide on the most deserving winners.

The awards party itself will take place on Thursday 12 October 2006 at the chic CC Club in Central London, with more than 500 guests expected to attend.
