NTL bolsters senior staff following expansion

James Kydd is joining as managing director, marketing and Ashley Stockwell is joining as managing director, brand.

 

James and Ashley will prepare for the launch of the newly merged business under the Virgin brand.

 

James will manage all aspects of consumer marketing while Ashley is responsible for establishing the brand values and ethos of the company.

 

Most recently, James has been responsible for brand at Virgin Mobile. For the last five years Ashley has led Virgin's brand and marketing strategy and has worked for  Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Drinks, Virgin Cinemas and Virgin Trains.

 

Neil Berkett, chief operating officer, NTL, said: "We have a huge opportunity to bring the NTL/Telewest and Virgin companies together and combine the best of all. We will benefit from Virgin's award-winning marketing and customer service experience and aim to use this to bring to life our range of home entertainment services for consumers."
