ITN takes news mobile on i -mode

The new i-mode site from ITN will feature home, world, business and entertainment news,plus breaking news bulletins, in both text and video form.
ITN Multimedia has built the web architecture, packaged and produced all the content specifically for this new site as i-mode is the only mobile phone service to feature made-for-mobile web pages that can be viewed from its handset.
The ITN site will be priced at £1.50 per month with unlimited text and video downloads available to i-mode users.
Nicholas Wheeler, managing director of ITN Multimedia, said: "We have been a long term news partner with O2 and we are very excited to expand the services we provide for them. Now, as well as providing 2.5G and 3G news bulletins, we are supplying them with a new made-for-mobile ITN site."
Grahame Riddell, head of content marketing, O2 said: “We are pleased to be working with ITN to offer its service to our customers. ITN has managed to capture the benefits of i-mode and joined the i-mode ecosystem to offer its consumers a compelling mobile experience."
ITN Multimedia recently announced it has also signed a deal with MSN to supply news and a variety of entertainment content for its new video channel, 'MSN Video', and is partnering with Blinkx in the launch of its full-service IPTV platform blinkx.tv.
