Mobile pub opens on i-mode

The new iPub channel features themed "pub" mobile games such as Pub Pool, Pub Fruity and Pub Darts as well as a number of  mobile games.

The site will offer mobile consumers access to InfoSpace's iPub channel on its i-mode site from £3. 

As an official partner, InfoSpace will be available through i-mode's interface under the games menu.

InfoSpace will collect its revenue from subscription based services billed directly through the user's phone bill permitting it to concentrate on its core business. i-mode allows for both subscription based and non-subscription based content.

George Fraser, VP Sales, InfoSpace said: "We have created a channel that gives you everything you would expect from a British pub - games, drinking songs, jokes and even an old man sat over half a pint of mild.”
