Alder Hey takes Imagine appeal online

The new charity appeal, found at www.imagineappeal.com, is a fundraising campaign that helps Europe's largest children's hospital to continue its work and develop facilities to offer healthcare to children across the North West.

Amaze offered its services to design and build the website and implement Tridion at a “vastly reduced price”, which will let Imagine organisers develop content themselves and raise awareness of the charity.

Tridion donated software to let the Imagine team manage their own website, deliver digital marketing campaigns and drive donations through the web.

Imagine intend to use the technology to integrate online donations into their communications tool to drive repeat donations through personalised messages from individuals who have benefited from specific donations.

Chris Done, fundraising manager for Imagine said: "We are delighted that a company with such a first class reputation for delivering state-of-the-art websites was able to offer their services to us and negotiate support from Tridion as part of the package. The facility for us to edit our own content on a regular basis was a priority so we are really pleased with this aspect of the project."

The Imagine logo has been created from John Lennon's drawings for his son Sean. Permission to use the image has been granted by Yoko Ono.
