Walma will be responsible for formulating the company’s overall marketing and customer acquisition strategy, and launching Reporo’s mobile shopping platform to consumers.

She will also lead the B2B marketing programme to expand the 25 retail brands that already offer their online catalogues via Reporo, including CD WOW!, Firebox.com, Blackwell’s and Active Hotels.

Walma will report directly to Reporo’s managing director, Richard Watney. She joins the company from Monster, where she was head of marketing for the UK, and responsible for the company's overall B2C and B2B marketing from 2003 to 2005.

“Reporo offers the UK’s first fully e-commercial, cross network mobile shopping.  The browsing and purchase experience is great, and given the growth of GPRS-enabled phones, it’s a very compelling proposition at the right time,” said Walma.

Before joining Monster, Kim was head of sales strategy and B2B marketing at AOL UK.
