The ‘Dirty Music’ commercial, created by agency WCRS, is set on the mystical ‘Planet 3’ where music has become illegal.
The ad features a group of female musical revellers, who are raided by the “sound police” who impound their music and take the women away. However, eventually even the Police succumb to the allure of music.
Bob Fuller, 3’s chief executive said: “Music is an important part of people’s leisure time, with 3G technology our customers can enjoy full-length music videos and tracks on their mobile, something consumers would never have imagined possible a few years ago.“
The brand film will be supported by a multi-media, through-the-line campaign to promote 3’s music offering of tracks and full-length videos from major artists and record labels including Robbie Williams, Britney Spears, Kylie and a range of indie bands.
The campaign airs for the first time on August 31st in the ad break of Channel 4‘s Lost.
