AOL launches customisable home page

Along with access to AOL Web services, the My AOL portal uses RSS feeds provided by that allows members to search and subscribe to publisher-specific and topic-based feeds that relate to their interests.
AOL said it plans to include the ability to search for additional RSS feeds and a "Top Feeds" section that will display Top new and blogs from across the Web.
Users will also be able to access their My AOL page from any computer by exporting their settings.
Kerry Parkins, director, audience products at AOL, said: "By enabling consumers to create their own personal home page on AOL.com to manage all of their sources of online information in one central location, My AOL provides a convenient solution for a usually time-consuming ritual: visiting multiple Web sites and blogs multiple times each day to catch up on news.”
