The move sees Hypertag partner with resellers France, Spain, Australia and Canada to roll out its interactive outdoor advertising technology.
Hypertags are short-range wireless devices, which send information to mobile phones via infra-red or Bluetooth.
A user can activate the infra-red or Bluetooth on their phone, hold it up to the Hypertag and receives content such as vouchers, business cards, ringtones or games.
In France, a reseller deal with Blackberry has already seen campaign for EMI France to promote the latest Daft Punk album.
Meanwhile, a deal with Australian company Aura will see Hypertags used in a campaign for cinema chain UIP to promote the upcoming War of the Worlds film
In Spain, Hypertag have struck a deal with /i/vista, which specializes in new media systems for advertising and information uses.
In addition, Canadaian advertising agency Urban Mobile Media is developing versions of Hypertag software to be compatible with US and Canadian handsets
Rachel Harker, co-founder of Hypertag, said: "For the time being we are focusing on working with regional partners to leverage their presence in the marketplace.
"However, there is nothing intrinsically in the technology that limits their applicability to any territory straight out of the box."
