Sport retailer targets footy fans

Footwear, clothing and equipment will be sold on the site, which is owned by Fast Web Media. Sport e.com added that it plans to sell other relevant products in the near future.
"4thegame":http://www.4thegame.co.uk will introduce a “tried and tested” area where opinions will be given on goods available to buy on the site. In addition a “top ten best buys” list will also be available to view each week.
Michael Flynn, CEO of Fast Web Media, said: “By adding a large retail element we are giving users an instant ability to purchase whilst searching for news on their favourite team and players."
A new look 4thegame site will launch in November, with a number of new content areas to be announced shortly.
Manchester-based Fast Web Media is the wholly owned UK operating company of Total Sports Online ASA. It also runs www.megasoccer.com, a football-specific search engine.
Launched last year, "Sport-e.com":http://www.sport-e.com is an authorised online retailer of Nike, Adidas, Reebok and Puma and also offers brands such as Nike, Umbro, Slazenger, Fila, Lacoste, Diesel, Converse, Lonsdale and USA Pro.
