The campaign consists of Bluetooth-enabled touch screen kiosks set up in Bristol. The six-month trial will give people free Internet access as well as information on activities in the city.

The kiosks will feature a dedicated Carling channel with will include competitions to win tickets to Carling live music gigs or to win a pint at a local pub.

Chris O’Donnell, head of "OneZeroOne":http://www.onezeroone.net/, said: “This is a huge pilot campaign and a great example of the future of out-of-home advertising. We will replicate the Bristol experience in major cities across the country once we have completed our learning experience.”

In addition, the kiosks will offer wireless access, supplied by Cityspace, while mobile-owners with Bluetooth can opt-in to receive Carling offers and Carling live music footage for free.

Nicola Young, head of Relationship Marketing at Carling, said: “With more companies investigating the potential of new technologies to engage consumers, the Bristol pilot will enable us to experiment with a range of these devices as well as enable us to get more instant feedback from our consumers.”

OneZeroOne is the media technology arm of media giant Poster Publicity.
