Sports car site revs up ad sales

Added:
Oct 28, 2004

PistonHeads claims to attract more than 400,000 users on a monthly basis, and said it recruited 24/7 Media as it did not have the internal resources to cope with the growing demands of its advertiser base.

In addition to outsourcing advertising sales, PistonHeads will be using 24/7’s Open AdStream Central, a hosted ad serving technology which provides information and reporting functions.

Established in 1998, "PistonHeads":http://www.pistonheads.com is an online car magazine for sports car owners and enthusiasts.

Paul Hickey, business development manager for 24/7 Real Media said: "PistonHeads has real potential for massive growth in advertising revenue. Through our expertise in the automotive sector we are well placed to generate significant interest in the site and grow revenues year on year."
