La Mia 500 is a customised Fiat 500 responds, informing the user that the car is open and whether it needs petrol, or air or water.

The car is one of four projects at the Festival of Science in Genoa, Italy, run by the Italian digital design college "Interaction Design Institute Ivrea":http://www.interaction-ivrea.it/en/index.asp#.

The car's rear windows act as screens on which users can sketch, and write text messages or emails and sent in real time over wireless networks with GPRS connections. The messages are stored on the car's website. When resting the car displays 'memories' - films and images - to the outside via a projector set between the headlights. MP3 files can also be downloaded to the car's jukebox from specially enabled petrol pumps.

The White Walls project, meanwhile, is an interactive wallpaper which can display text and images - emails, SMS and images taken with camera phones - according to input from a computer.

The Ninja TV-Fight Suit allows users to work out the day's frustrations by donning boxing gloves and 'fight' projected images. Also on display is Suitcase; the Portable Museum, which becomes an interactive portfolio based on radio tag technology and five second video loops. The result is a 3D, spatial demonstration of student work and activities, mixing space, sound and moving images.

The exhibition will continue until 8 November at the Festival of Science, Spazio Telecom di Piazza delle Feste, Genoa, Italy.

The computers and cell phones are not only here to stay in this generation but have proved to control our minds as we’ve fitted them into our lives. Since they are now not only restricted to a desktop computer or a house phone, they can used as per one’s own will. One can get their car audio adjusted according to the latest settings, as they have a GPS radio accessed through the car. The car cd mp3 players are also having a bad time surviving the competition with GPS technology. Also if you’re cruising in your car and want to set a ring tone according to your favorite song, you can get free ringtones. You also don’t need to get the latest dvd from the store anymore, all you need is a registration to the dvd movies and you can attain them.

Twitter is now a 'destination website' and that means it is gunning for Facebook, but cleverly avoiding a direct dogfight. It’s more an information network than a social network and so is offering much, much more. Tanya Goodin, CEO of search and social conversion agency Tamar comments…

SMS is the obvious “lowest common denominator” mobile marketing solution... yet critics still talk about apps and website and vouchers. Darren Daws, Managing Director at Txtlocal argues why SMS is still the best mobile marketing medium, even on smartphones.
