The new service, called My Trains, gives users access rail information by clicking on the travel icon from the services menu. Once customers have selected their usual train stations, the information is stored and can be retrieved without the need for more searches.

The My Trains service is now live on the 3 video mobile network and follows the recent launch of another partner site, Ladbrokes Balls! a 3G gambling service.

Graeme Oxby, marketing director, 3 commented: “Our strategy of working with content partners that are responsible for preparing and managing specific is proving very successful. It offers customers a greater range of services, it is time and cost efficient, and gives the supplier access to the fastest growing mobile customer base in the UK.”

Chris Scoggins, chief executive of National Rail Enquiries, said: “The mobile rail timetable service is proving to be extremely popular with our customers. The system enables them to access train timetables and the very latest real-time arrival and departure information in a quick and easy format.”
