The deal means 3 will extend its range to more than 2000 ringtones and wallpapers on offer to customers, and says it will add more than 75 new selections each week.

Emap will create and manage the branded content which is then delivered over the 3 network to customers’ video mobiles. From the ‘tunes and pix’ icon, customers can browse or search for ringtunes or wallpapers and each one costs just £2.50 to download.

Andrea Kilbourne, Managing Director of Emap Interactive said “We’re delighted to continue to work with 3. Emap has accelerated its growth into the mobile content market and with 3 now having announced over 1.2 million customers in the UK, more and more people on the 3 network are enjoying Emap’s hottest brands.”

Emap’s brand portfolio includes FHM, Kiss, Kerrang! Max Power, Smash Hits! Q, Empire, Heat, New Woman, Mojo and Mixmag.
