TeleCity creates global education portal

The Global Gateway, which started this month, is a new international website, enabling those involved in education to collaborate on 'creative partnerships'.
The portal provides a library of resources and features a partner-finding database that enables schools all over the globe to link up, share information and embark on joint projects.
TeleCity worked with the British Council- the UK's international organisation for educational opportunities and cultural relations- to design, build and deploy the system infrastructure for the portal.
Ricky Hudson, CEO of TeleCity said: "We are committed to the public sector agenda and are happy to be involved in making Broadband Britain a reality for all organisations."
