Aqueduct has been appointed to run above and below-the-line campaign, which will include direct mail, while The Telemarketing Company will compile a database of potential sales leads through research into the internet habits of more than 3,000 UK companies across a variety of sectors, including retail, finance, health and education.

Site Confidence says the research will provide data on the attitudes and needs of UK businesses with regards to their online presence, as well as new business targets.

Bill Kirkwood, CEO of Site Confidence, said: "We are looking to follow up on our recent record sales year with a serious push into untapped markets and the additional marketing support will help us achieve this."

Site Confidence provides its customers with data on their websites, including speed of downloading pages, missing images and broken links.

In the last financial year, Site Confidence secured contracts with Marks & Spencer, Virgin Radio, BMW and Yell.
