Tiscover wins EU tourism website contract

Tiscover and partners have won the contract to power the new VisitEurope.com, the EU's official tourism website. The agreement will see Tiscover, working in conjunction with Austrian partner Electronic Commerce Competence Centre (EC3), develop the portal into a worldwide marketing tool for all 32 EU member states. The contract is worth approximately EU2m and isn due to go live in 2005/6. The new www.visiteurope.com will enable tourists to review destinations, attractions and events as well as make bookings from accommodation providers.
