Nedstat will monitor activity across four of Thomas Cook's leading websites using its flagship analysis package, Sitestat, which provides in-depth information about customers' online buying behaviour.
Thomas Cook UK's decision to invest in Nedstat comes after the group's German website had successfully used the technology.
"We had used web analysis software across each of our sites but they only provided us with basic web logs," said Mike Ramsden, web development manager at Thomas Cook. "This was far too simplistic and wasn't providing meaningful information about customers' buying behaviour for us to make necessary changes to web content."
The move comes after aof the thomascook.com website in October last year. The group signed a white label deal with Online Travel Corp to enable it to add OTC's popular Build-Your-Own self-packaging tool to its website.
Nedstat said the deal further builds on its strong position in the UK online travel sector. It already has deals with STA Travel, eBookers, Travel Inn and First Choice Holidays.
