Swiss International Air Lines has recruited Agence Virtuelle to co-ordinate a search engine marketing campaign on Google, to extend across 14 European countries including the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain. The cost-per-click campaign is being conducted to boost sales via the swiss.com website and Agence Virtuelle has been tasked with managing the bidding on some 500 travel-related keywords. The aim of the campaign is to ensure that sponsored links appear in one of the top three positions in search results at the lowest possible price. A test campaign was conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of a CPC campaign to Swiss International.
