UK ISP Eclipse Internet announced that its "We Want Broadband" campaign has received over 15,000 registrations since it launched in January. The company said it has also seen significant interest in its broadband lobbyist reward scheme launched in May, with over 300 local campaigners signing up, and over 200 websites created. As part of Eclipse's offer for campaigners, business groups, chambers of commerce, individuals and communities are given a website, complete with home page, news section and supportive marketing materials including posters and leaflets. BT provides a similar scheme, offering local groups help with campaigns, but does not offer the free web space like Eclipse.
