The deal will begin with the launch of a range of games for NTL Home users, including a Cartoon Network branded games channel and other popular titles including Tetris and Solitaire.
The games zone will also contain editorial pages, featuring news, tips, cheats, competitions and jokes. The company said it will be the first red button games portal on the cable platform.
The two companies will then work closely to ensure that other services are available to viewers over the next eight months. These include Dateline, YooMedia's digital dating agency, as well as a "unique 24/7 chat service".
Once implemented, the chat service will allow NTL viewers to communicate with subscribers on other cable networks, as well as compadres using NTL. YooMedia claims that this has never been achieved before.
NTL said the deal was borne out of YooMedia's "focused product development as a well as its unique partnership approach with strong brands", such as Cartoon Network.
YooMedia COO Andrew Fearon said it is the company's intention to make all of its products available to all digital television users in the UK.
