Less than one in 12 internet surfers have used a mobile phone to access the internet, according to the latest report from the Office for National Statistics. The figures represent very slow growth considering that mobile internet access has been broadly available since the widespread roll-out of WAP technology three years ago. The study also showed that 40% of Britons had never used the internet, and 50% of these said they would not consider using the internet in the future.
