The joint venture channel, which will launch on BSkyB's Active menu, will offer a range of bingo-style and other numbers games and will be available 24 hours a day.

The four launch games are Bingo-Keno, Madcap Keno, Roll 'em and Fruit Frenzy, based on existing titles on the Rank.com website.

Fancy a Flutter viewers, who must be over the age of 18, can register either on the channel or online. From a minimum stake of 20 pence, players can win up to £500,000 payouts on some games, with winnings credited to registered debit or credit cards.

The companies are hoping to take advantage of the crossover of Rank's Mecca Bingo players who are also Sky subscribers. According to Rank, over a third (35%) of its Mecca customers subscribe to Sky.

The channel will be delivered by NDS' interactive TV system, and integrates technologies from both its Orbis and Visionik subsidiaries for games and account management as well as design and development for the first time.
