Email and web filtering group SurfControl has launched CRISP, a product that allows ISPs to implement parental controls without any upfront investment. The new technology will help users prevent children from viewing unacceptable material, in line with the government's desire for ISPs to become self-regulating and to take more responsibility over internet content. ISPs can integrate CRISP into their systems quickly and with a minimum of fuss, according to SurfControl, which will earn a share of the revenues on an ongoing basis from ISPs that adopt the software.
