From today, T-Mobile users with MMS-enabled handsets will be able to exchange messages - incorporating pictures, sound clips and text - with their friends on the Orange network for as little as 21p per message.
The company has an existing agreement in place with O2 and is aiming for full UK interconnection between all networks - it said talks with Vodafone are underway and expects to make an announcement shortly.
T-Mobile, formerly known as One 2 One, claims to have been the first UK operator to introduce MMS services, which were launched last June.
