Ad agency searches drop

AdForum.com, the B2B portal for the worldwide advertising community, has raised fears about the potential growth of the advertising market this year by saying there were fewer agency searches on the web during Q4 last year. The portal's index of global agency search activity said activity dropped 16% during the period compared the to the previous three months, with around 3200 searches recorded. The figures reflect requests made for new agencies on the company's site and that of Advertising Age in the US, CB News in France, MediaGuardian in the UK, IPMark.com in Spain and Extradienst in Austria.
