Paddy Power, the Irish bookmaker is to launch a poster campaign on 2 April to support the launch of its UK site, paddypower.co.uk. Bartle Bogle Hegarty handled the creative while Starcom Motive dealt with the media planning and buying.

The Halifax has launched an online advertising campaign to promote its home and travel insurance products, while a second campaign will use a superstitial, created by eBrands@DLKW, to promote Halifax's share dealing service. Zenith Interactive handled online media planning and buying for both campaigns.

Vodafone is running a press campaign to promote its Text Chat service. Ads will appear in lifestyle magazines including Maxim, FHM, Company, Sky, Mixmag and Loaded.

The Department of Trade and Industry has appointed digital@jwt to conduct an analysis of the UK's internet market, so that it can gain a better understanding of key issues facing e-businesses.

Yahoo! UK & Ireland and air miles are to jointly develop an online loyalty programme, which will allow customers shopping from selected merchants on Yahoo! to collect points that can be converted into air miles.

zed, the mobile services provider, is to sponsor The Galaxy Radio Network's nine hour-long outside broadcast from the Gatecrasher event at the NEC on 13 April, which is expected to attract 12000 visitors.

The ISP Freedom2Surf has appointed Hotwire PR, the technology and new media public relations consultancy, as its PR agency.

Ad agency HHCL has created an interactive TV commercial for online budget airline, Go. The 60-second commercial will allow the viewer to choose the music track that runs alongside the visual.
